About Our Services
Services are on Sundays, and begin at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. There is a 9:00 a.m. service most Sundays from mid-September to mid-June. Check the church calendar to confirm. The 9:00 a.m. service is a contemplative service with childcare available. The 10:30 a.m. service is complemented by Sunday school classes for our youth, and our fabulous choir. Our Sunday services typically include hymn singing, instrumental music, a message for all ages, a time for sharing significant joys and sorrows and a sermon. We have different formats from time to time, and summer services tend to be simpler. The first Sunday of the month we have a sermon discussion group in the sanctuary during the second half of coffee hour. If you want to participate, listen for the bell that’s rung to signal the start of the discussion. |
Especially for Visitors
Greeters are in the atrium to welcome visitors prior to the 9:00 a.m. service at 8:45 a.m., and prior to the 10:30 a.m. service at 10:00 a.m. Please come in through the red doors. You'll be greeted and offered a name tag when you enter. You may then go into the sanctuary and sit while waiting for the service or stay in the atrium and meet others. Coffee Hour Visitor's Cart We hope you’ll stay for coffee hour. It’s a chance to meet some members and learn more about our congregation. Please take advantage of our visitor coffee cart. You won’t have to wait in line, and members will be waiting to talk with you. Children and Youth Programs
If you have children with you, a member of the Youth Programs committee can show you and your children the classrooms. Infant, toddler, and Pre-K care is provided from 8:45 to noon. School-aged children spend the first half hour in the service with the adults. The children and their teachers are in their classrooms from approximately 11:00 - 12:00. On some occasions, we enjoy a multigenerational service. For those services, everyone from kindergarten up stays for the whole service. |
