Ongoing Groups

We are a busy congregation with many ways to connect!
New Gatherings!
There are three opportunities to MOVE our bodies throughout winter and into spring. The idea for these events are to just keep moving & to have a sense of not being alone. Let's be together. But you don't have to have your video on. No pressure to impress anyone. It's all good, whatever your participation, mood, ability, energy, or pace. Bring it! By the end, you'll thank yourself.  For more up-to-date info and links, check our Online Newsletter.
Morning Yoga
Every Tuesday and Thursday @ 9:30 am
Check in with the facilitator (Amanda Spurrell or whoever wants to do it) and other participants. Then facilitator will "SHARESCREEN" a 15-30 minute yoga video. (Her absolute favorite is Yoga With Adrienne.) Please let Amanda know if you would like to facilitate a video.

Monthly MOVEMENT/Dance Party
Last Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm  March 31
Again, the emphasis is MOVEMENT, not just dance. OUR earthly bodies & spirits crave movement/energy. Let's stretch, shimmy, shake, roll, leap, reach, wave, smile, laugh, sing, twist, twirl, and 80's head bang. If you would like any songs included on the shuffle list please email them to Amanda Spurrell by the Sunday before. Otherwise, she'll pick out a bunch and push shuffle.

Franny Stone has always been a wanderer. By following the ocean’s tides and the birds that soar above, she can forget the losses that have haunted her life. Contact: Sheryl Goldberg

Circle of Life
1st Thursdays @ 3:00 pm  January 7

The Circle of Life companions lovingly donate their time to be with the dying and their families in a non-medical capacity. To further our ability to be with the dying, we learn from comfort companions who have experienced and written about the dying process. We bring our experiences of being with the dying to the group. We gradually become less fearful of our own death, as well as the dying of those we comfort. Contact: Caroline Landrum
