Upcoming Events
Saturdays, September 24, October 1, and October 8, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Beginning Enneagram Class
The Enneagram is a tool for understanding yourself and others. It is a great map that helps us see where we get in our own way. We have psychological habits that prevent our personal development and the Enneagram gives a window into the choices we don't yet see. We will meet for three Saturdays. Bring a snack. Kimi will make coffee and hot water. Spread the word. Cost for the class is $35 per Saturday -- or $90 for all three. Call Kimi Riegel with questions.
Wednesday, September 28, 7:00 p.m.
Book Group Meets
We will discuss In Between: Memoir of an Integration Baby, by Mark D. Morrison-Reed. Call the church for the location. The book group does not meet in the church.
Saturday, October 1, 7:30 p.m.
Family Game Night
Bring a snack to share and join the fun! Everyone is welcome.
Tuesdays October 4, 11 and 19, 7:00 p.m.
Sermon Writing 101
We all have a sermon inside - some of us have more than one! Would you like to give a sermon, but you are nervous about the writing and delivery part? This class is for you. Come to the church for this class. Rev. Kimi Riegel and Worship Committee chair, Linda Gobeski, will walk you through the process of creating your own sermon!
Saturday, October 8, 6:00 p.m.
Friendship Dinners
Please sign up at church at the Membership Table or call the church if you are interested. Groups are limited to between six and eight people, and are a very good way to meet with other friends and members at Northwest. Dinners are for families as well as adults. Hosts/hostesses are also needed.
Mondays, October 10, 17, & 24, November 7, 14, & 21, December 5, 12 & 19, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Enneagram Part II
If you have taken Beginning Enneagram (attending at least 6 classes) you are ready for part II. We will discuss subtypes, directions of movement, wings, defense mechanisms and much more. Please spread the word. We need 10 people to make the class a go.
